المثل «إذا تفرقت الغنم قادتها العنز الجرباء» يُضرب لمن يضطر إلى قبول قيادة شخص غير صالح أو غير مناسب عندما تتفرق الجماعة ولا يوجد من هو أصلح منه؛ أي إن غياب الأكفاء يجعل الأقل صلاحية يتولى الأمر.
