Stop slandering chaste women, and your mothers will be safe
.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Do not dishonor other men’s women, and your own women will be spared.”
“What goes around comes around.”
“Treat others as you would have them treat you.”
👉 “Treat others as you would have them treat you.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Leave off slander against chaste women, and your own mothers will be safe.” This means: Do not attack people’s honor with slander and accusations, for if you protect their honor, they will protect the honor of your own mothers and wives.
The closest English equivalent is:
“Do not dishonor other men’s women, and your own women will be spared.”
However, in terms of brevity and conciseness, the closest English expression is:

That is: What you do to others will come back to you.
There is also a more specific expression:
“Treat others as you would have them treat you.”
That is: Treat people as you would like to be treated.
And the best equivalent, according to the moral meaning of the proverb, is:
👉 “Treat others as you would have them treat you.”

Your world is what you are in

Your world is what you are in

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Live for today.
Make the most of the present.
Live in the present.
You only have the present.
Make hay while the sun shines.
Live in the present.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Your world is what you are in now" means that the world you truly possess is your present moment and what you are experiencing right now. Don't base your life on the future or preoccupy yourself with what hasn't happened yet.
Some of the closest English equivalents are:
Live for today.
Make the most of the present.
Live in the present.
You only have the present.
There's also a well-known English proverb very close in meaning:
Make hay while the sun shines.
That is, "Seize the opportunity while it's available," but it adds the meaning of seizing the opportunity, while "Your world is what you are in now" focuses more on the present moment you are living.
Therefore, if you want the closest, most direct, and natural equivalent:
Live in the present.

Take what is and be content

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Take what is available and be content.
Abu Zaid said: Meaning what is prepared. This proverb is used to describe a man being content with only some of his needs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Half a loaf is better than none.
Take what you can get. ⭐⭐
Beggars can't be choosers. ⭐⭐
Make do with what you have.

Half a loaf is better than none.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Arabic proverb "Take what you can and make do with what you have" means:
Take what is readily available, make use of what is available, and don't waste the opportunity waiting for something better.
It is used to encourage contentment with a partial need if the full need is unattainable, or to urge acceptance of what is available instead of abandoning it in pursuit of something more perfect.
Similar English equivalents:
Half a loaf is better than none. ⭐⭐⭐ (Similar)
Half a loaf is better than nothing.
This is a well-known English proverb that perfectly captures the meaning of being content with what is available.
Take what you can get. ⭐⭐
Take what you can get.
A common expression that directly conveys the meaning.
Beggars can't be choosers. ⭐⭐
A person in need doesn't have the luxury of choice.
Said to someone who should accept what is available.
Make do with what you have.
Manage with what you have.
It focuses on being content with what one has.
Best alternative
If the desired thing is, for example, an equivalent English word, then the best choice is:
Half a loaf is better than none.
Because it conveys the same meaning: being content with some of what is desired is better than complete deprivation.
